We found an overwhelming number of positive reviews online for DaVinci cribs from very satisfied customers. Most reviewers seem to agree that the Kalani crib is extremely sturdy, beautiful and very well designed. One parent stated that his new crib looks just as beautiful as the pictures online and is more than satisfied with his purchase. She not only raved about the crib, she also marveled at how many different styles and colors they had for crib sets and beautiful changing tables.
A lot of people commented that they especially liked the fact that there are no movable parts which seem to be a safety issue with other styles of cribs and baby furniture in general. The DaVinci Kalani Convertible crib is constructed with New Zealand pine which is a much softer wood and can become damaged a lot easier than other woods. Most of these reviewers, however, did comment that despite this one negative characteristic, this crib far exceeded their expectations. One reviewer commented that all baby cribs scratch and dent from wear and tear and this one will be no exception. For the teething baby, she recommended purchasing bite guards for the railings to protect the wood.
There were only a handful of customers that commented about the convertible features of the Kalani crib, but those that did stated that it was very easy to convert the crib to a day bed and semi-toddler bed and having the safety rail included was very convenient.
